Damascus’ reintegration into regional affairs continues with chairmanship of Arab Media Council

    26 November 2025.  Hamza al-Mustafa presented Syria’s vision of developing a media sector committed to rebuilding public trust and supporting social reconciliation. As council chair, he seeks to move Arab countries from consumers of digital content to active producers who can shape the region’s media.Read more at:  SANA

      Syria declares new era of cooperation with US and agrees to join global coalition to defeat ISIS

        11 November 2025.  Following an historic meeting between Presidents Al-Sharaa and Trump at the White House, Trump expressed full support for Syria’s success and confidence in its leader.             Over 1,000 doctors meet in Damascus to advance healthcare in Syria and the region

              24 October 2025.  The historic post-war meeting was held to strengthen ties between Syrian doctors in Europe and their Syrian counterparts, and to transfer modern medical expertise from European centers to Syria.               Japan partners with Syria to restore old cities of Damascus and Aleppo—UNESCO World Heritage Sites

                14 October 2025.  Japanese experts in urban planning visited Damascus to discuss an initiative for rebuilding two cities of major historical significance that were badly damaged in Syria’s civil war.                 Establishing a press rooted in transparency is high priority for Syria

                  9 October 2025.  In a round table discussion with students at Columbia University, al-Mustafa spoke of the government’s goal to overcome the past and establish public trust.
