17 August 2026.  Mahmoud Barkhadan, a senior SDF commander, said that SDF’s integration into the Syrian Army is complete and irreversible, with 99% of issues resolved, plus integration into state institutions. “We will build the new Syria hand in hand within the framework of one army, one state, one flag, and a shared homeland,” he said.
