24 April 2026. In a rare consensus, the entire Council endorsed the 2026 Humanitarian Needs and Response plan for Syria. Members praised Syria’s contributions to regional stability, and its increasing global integration; many condemned Israel’s constant attacks. Syria’s outstanding humanitarian needs were stressed by UN executives.
