Syria develops nationwide public works program to provide employment and rebuild the country

27 April 2026.  Syrian authorities and partners, including the International Labor Organization, met to design a program that links short-term employment, providing sustainable livelihoods, while rehabilitating infrastructure including schools, health centers and roads.
