15 March 2026. Peaceful protests against decades of tyranny, corruption and humiliation, beginning in Daraa in 2011, led to a popular uprising and civil war, ending in Syria’s rebirth. The revolution’s ideals of freedom, dignity, justice, and accountability became signposts of the new Syria.
