16 July 2026. CMA CGM, one of the world’s largest container shipping and logistics companies, announced an expanded role in Syria’s reconstruction, during French President Macron’s visit to Damascus. The company will aid the development of an integrated transport system, boosting economic development and helping restore Syria’s role in regional trade.
