Syrian scientist receives global award for breakthrough in low-cost sustainable energy

    In move to modernize telecommunications, Syria launches international tender offer for new mobile operator

      Hama celebrates Assad’s overthrow with joy and calls for justice

        5 December 2025.  Tens of thousands of people from Hama and around the country gathered to mark the overthrow of the brutal regime that caused extreme suffering there for decades, including a major massacre under Hafiz Assad in 1982.
