IMF offers technical support for Syria’s state budget and financial stabilization

      Qatari-Saudi grant of $89M will support public sector salaries and the nation’s stability

        28 October 2025.  With help from the UNDP, Syria will begin to disburse a $28 million monthly grant, over three months, to cover part of public sector employees’ wages.           Over 1,000 doctors meet in Damascus to advance healthcare in Syria and the region

            24 October 2025.  The historic post-war meeting was held to strengthen ties between Syrian doctors in Europe and their Syrian counterparts, and to transfer modern medical expertise from European centers to Syria.               22 October 2025.  The MED9 Summit signalled a turning point in Syria’s regional reintegration, with leaders of the 9 nations agreeing that peace in Syria is a cornerstone of the region’s security.               Digital transformation of nation’s encyclopedia underway to safeguard vast cultural heritage

                20 October 2025.  Syria’s Arabic Encyclopedia, a leading scientific, cultural and educational organization, is digitizing its archives to share Syria’s intellectual legacy with global researchers and future generations.                 Syrian President visits Moscow to redefine relations with Russia

                  18 October 2025.  During his first official visit to Moscow, President al-Sharaa sought to reset Syrian–Russian relations.
