Rule of law carried out in first public trials in Syria

    19 November 2025.  “We are writing a new chapter in the record of justice for Syria’s future,” said Minister al-Wais, speaking of the trials in the March coastal conflicts.       Civil defence teams successfully remove landmines and other dangerous remnants of war

        18 November 2025.  Since the start of 2025, Civil Defence teams have completed 2,370 operations to clear landmines and other explosive devices around Damascus and in the south. They have also conducted over 10,000 prevention sessions, safeguarding some 23,000 citizens including 20,000 children.Read more at:  SANA

        IMF team states Syria’s economy shows early signs of recovery and offers support

          18 November 2025.  The IMF announced a program of intensive cooperation with Syria, offering technical assistance to strengthen all aspects of the financial system.           Syria transforms detention center into environment for rehabilitation

            17 November 2025.  Social affairs minister Kabawat inaugurated the first juvenile detention center in Tartous, aiming to include modern educational and psychological programs to aid children’s reintegration into society.             Syria returns to the world as a free nation, reopening major embassies

              15 November 2025.  Syria has reopened embassies in the US and UK, preparing for Turkey next, as it moves to restore formal ties with the West and with regional powers.               “Day of Dialogue” conference fosters partnership between civil society and state

                15 November 2025.  The 9th annual European Union conference in support of Syria, held in Syria for the first time, highlighted cooperation between civil society and government.                 UN renews support for Syria’s permanent sovereignty over the Golan Heights

                  13 November 2025.  In a boost to Syria’s drive to reclaim land occupied by Israel, the UN General Assembly passed a resolution, with 152 votes in favor, affirming Syrians’ sovereignty over the Golan Heights, along with Palestinians’ sovereignty to their land, and calling on Israel to cease its occupations.Read more at:  SANA

                  Syrian president speaks of historic White House meeting to Washington Post

                    11 November 2025.  President al-Sharaa tells reporters that President Trump reiterated his support for Syria’s stability, territorial unity, and “the complete lifting of sanctions,” stating most congressional members he met with agreed.                     Syria declares new era of cooperation with US and agrees to join global coalition to defeat ISIS

                      11 November 2025.  Following an historic meeting between Presidents Al-Sharaa and Trump at the White House, Trump expressed full support for Syria’s success and confidence in its leader.                         Literature of Syrian revolution to be preserved, honoring nation’s sacrifices for freedom

                          9 November 2025.  The Arab Writers Union established a new unit to document the literature of Syria’s revolution, preserving the poetry, novels, short stories and theatre born of the struggle.
