13 November 2025. In a boost to Syria’s drive to reclaim land occupied by Israel, the UN General Assembly passed a resolution, with 152 votes in favor, affirming Syrians’ sovereignty over the Golan Heights, along with Palestinians’ sovereignty to their land, and calling on Israel to cease its occupations.
