Syria’s Health Minister, Musab al-Ali, reported on progress in rebuilding the nation’s medical infrastructure, with cooperation from state agencies, supportive countries and organizations, and local partnerships. Foundation stones have been laid for major hospitals in many provinces, damaged hospitals have been renovated, new clinics have opened, and new equipment delivered. “We are laying the foundations for a health sector that can meet the needs of all Syrians,” al-Ali said.
