    15 November 2025.  Syria has reopened embassies in the US and UK, preparing for Turkey next, as it moves to restore formal ties with the West and with regional powers. At London’s ceremony, Foreign Minister Asaad al‑Shaibani declared, “Syria is returning to the world with its free identity.”
