23 February 2026. Election preparations are taking place in the province of Raqqa, formerly under SDF control, with electoral bodies being formed to insure fair and inclusive representation. Following Raqqa, elections will be held in Hasakah province and part of Aleppo, enabling the new parliament to convene.
